Trustis First Party Services provide Digital Certificates to protect information in transit across the Internet.

To make sure that your browser can work with Trustis FPS Digital Certificates, the root certificate should be installed.  There is no danger in doing this, and no programs will be downloaded to your computer.  This only has to be done once in the lifetime of your browser!  To be sure it has been done, just follow the simple instructions below:

If you have Internet Explorer (Step by step pictorial guidance on this can be found here):

  1. Right-Click on this link and choose "Save Target As ...".
    then choose a suitable place to store the root certificate file
  2. Right-Click on the stored root certificate file and choose "Install Certificate"

If you have Netscape (Step by step pictorial guidance on this can be found here):

  1. First click on this link and follow the prompts
    when asked "Accept this Certificate Authority for Certifying network sites" - tick the box

    when asked "Accept this Certificate Authority for Certifying e-mail users" - tick the box
    when asked to give this certificate a name - type "Trustis FPS CA"
