Some years ago Trustis worked closely with experts from the NHS Information Authority to develop an NHS-friendly SSL Server Certificate provisioning service. 

The primary objective was to make a normally difficult process as simple as possible yet ensure that NHS organisations were able to buy high quality SSL Certificates at a reasonable price.  The resultant service has been running for a number of years now and has met all the objectives set; the SSL Certificates meet the very high standards demanded by the NHS and if you are a registered NHS organisation, they are easy to acquire.

NHS personnel vet all SSL Certificate applications and once approved, the process couldn't be simpler or quicker.  Because applications are effectively pre-authorised by the NHS, Trustis can act quickly to get you your certificate.  Furthermore, you don't need to pay online, an invoice is sent in slower time. 

Trustis SSL Certificates are manufactured at  Trustis' tScheme approved, BS7799 accredited, high security facility. Each certificate is supported by SiteID to provide real-time identity and validity assurance for users if it's needed.

What you need

To get an SSL Certificate through this service, you must be registered with the NHS Address Registration Service.

To apply you will require your NHS Organisation Code and a Purchase Order Number. Once you have these items you can apply online by simply clicking on the button at the bottom of this page.

You can buy either a 1 year, 2 year or 3 year certificate, singly or in bulk, in Single-Site or Wildcard form.
